This past winter Mr. Never Satisfied escaped the New York cold by traveling around New Zealand and Australia (it was their Summer!). It couldn't have possibly been a better visit while in Melbourne. Our buddy Dean Sunshine connected us with his friend Laki who owns a popular vegetarian restaurant in Fitzroy called Vegie Bar. Laki just happened to be in the process of converting an old transformer factory into another restaurant/bar endeavor and decided to call it --wait for it-- TRANSFORMER! Since Dean hyped up Nev so much for his street work and lettering skills, Laki decided to hire us to restore the old signage up top and let us go to town on the facade below. By total coincidence, Annica of Dirty Bandits happened to be visiting Melbourne during the same time so we decided to once again paint together. Couldn't have been a better trip!
